Top Ten Tuesday - #28: Give Love A Chance

{ ++ } Hosted by the girls over at The Broke and the Bookish, this meme features a different theme every week, and hey, it's Tuesday - we've got the rest of the week ahead of us.  We all need a little fun, and who doesn't love the challenge of ranking their top 10 anything...especially when it comes to books?!  I know I do, hence why I thought it'd be fun to participate, and spice things up a little!

Top Ten Book Romances That You Think Would Make It In the Real World

{ 1 } Dimitri/Rose - The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead.  Both Dimitri and Rose have such strong personalities that even though they clash at times, at the end of the day, they both have shown in the books how much they care for one another, and that they work so well together as partners.
{ 2 } Mal/Alina - Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo.  Mal and Alina are best friends, and though in S&B by no means are they perfect or is everything solved, they have a BEAUTIFUL beginning that I literally wept happy tears over.  I think they would definitely have a chance in the real world because of how comfortable they are with one another, and their ability to communicate and be honest with one another.
{ 3 } Perry/Aria - The Under The Never Sky series by Veronica Rossi.  Even though Aria and Perry started out as two very different people with complete misconceptions of one another, over the course of NEVER SKY, they really grew to understand each other and bond...and realized they weren't THAT different.
{ 4 } Harlin/Charlotte - The A Need So Beautiful series by Suzanne Young.  There is just SUCH an enormous, gorgeous wealth of love, comfort, and caring between these two.  Of all of the couples I've chosen, I think they are the most likely to "make it" because of how well they know, understand, and love one another.
{ 5 } Adam/Juliette - The Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi.  I was overwhelmed with how beautiful it was watching Juliette and Adam fall in love.  They care about one another so much, and do an amazing job of looking out for each other.
{ 6 } Michael/Emerson - The Hourglass series by Myra McEntire.  One of the MOST realistic couples I've ever come across.  Myra perfectly illustrates Michael and Em falling in love and working through whatever life - or time - throws at them.  I ADORE these two.  They are SUCH a strong, functional couple.
{ 7 } Etienne/Anna - Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins.  Oh man, oh wow.  Do I NEED to say anything here to convince y'all that Etienne and Anna ARE the perfect couple?  They went through so much to get to their happy ending, and it was SO worth it, worth the wait, the tears and frustration, because they're AMAZING.
{ 8 } James/Clementine - Unbreak My Heart by Melissa C. Walker.  James saw Clem at her worst and still wanted to be her friend, if not more.  I loved watching them get to know each other, and how they were able to comfort one another.  They had an awesome beginning and I like to think they lived happily ever after.  ;)
{ 9 } Noah/Echo - Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry.  Their journey toward understanding each other, getting to know one another, and falling in love was AMAZING to read about.  They made each other BETTER.
{ 10 } Blake/Allie - Breaking Beautiful by Jennifer Shaw Wolf.  To go from once-best-friends, to tentative allies, to best friends again, all while falling in love...this pairing brought me to tears more than once.  They're fiercely protective of one another and SO full of joy when they're together.
